Pulse Oximetry is used as a feedback mechanism during cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. Monitoring the SpO2 value during certain breathing techniques or exercises can help patients learn to control their breathing or avoid certain activities which can lead to hypoxic episodes. SpO2 also provides an indicator as to the severity of the disease process such as with patients with COPD.
-
The Models 512, 513 and 515B incorporate advanced digital signal processing which provides superior performance during patient motion.
-
The Model 512 and 513 are small, easy to use monitor which can be worn around a patient's neck or shoulder during these testing phases.
-
The model 512 has one button which is used to power on and off. The full featured model 513 and 515B incorporates a 3 button design and internet smart memory which remembers the settings selected by the user every time the monitor is turned on. A one time set-up is all that is needed.
-
The models 512/513 bright red LED's allow spo2 and pulse rate data to be seen easily in all lighting conditions. The monitors are powered from 2 standard AA alkaline batteries with a battery life of 16 hours
-
The model 513 provides audible and visual alarms for violation of alert limits. Alert limits for spo2 and pulse rate can be set manually or automatically around recent patient data. Alert limits can be disabled completely or pulse rate limits may be disabled independently. Audible pulse bip, is also available. The monitor can be easily converted from a spot check to a continuous monitor.
-
The model 513 provides storage of up to 24 hours of patient trend data. This can be downloaded to a PC for use with NovaCARD computer Archive Recall and display program. This data can be printed.
-
The multi-site "Y" sensor allows flexibility in choosing the sensor site and can be securely attached to the finger with an adhesive tape.
-
The Multi-Site Y-sensor works on all patient populations. One sensor can be used on all patients.
-
The models 512/513 and 515B utilizes our cost effective, reusable SuperBright Finger & Y-sensors with the DB-9 connector.
-
The model 515B incorporates a large red LED display of spo2 and pulse rate making it easy to see values from across the room. A bright red alert bar flashes during alarm conditions making it easy for the clinical staff to identify which monitor is the cause of the alert.
-
The model 515B incorporates an internal battery which provides 8 hours of operation.
-
With optional RS232/Analog interface, the 515B can store up to 24 hours of patient trend data that can be downloaded onto a PC and analyzed with our NovaCARD computer Archive, recall and display software.
