| Why was CHEMGON Developed: |
To solve the problem of hazardous and toxic waste disposal cost effectively, within the requirements of governing regulatory agencies |
| What is CHEMGON: |
A proprietary encapsulating, chelating, and neutralizing polymer. |
| What does CHEMGON Do: |
Encapsulates and detoxifies aqueous hazardous photographic waste and binds it into an unleacheable chelated matrix that is safe for regular solid waste disposal |
| How Does CHEMGON Work: |
A patented polymer encapsulator absorbs, neutralizes and chelates heavy metal, much in the same way chrome plating renders chromium safe |
| Why Should I Use CHEMGON: |
TO protect the environment from toxic pollutants and protect your business from regulatory violation |
| How Do I Use CHEMGON |
Run the chemical drain tubes directly into the cubetainer and either open valves for changing or let overflow run into the container, a little at a time or all at once doesn't matter. This method is called "In Process Alteration of Waste" and by the E.P.A. definition you RE NOT generating hazardous waste. Or if tray developing, simply pour effluent into the container. (If waste is handled this way the E.P.A. definition would be "Treatment Of Hazardous Waste") |
| What do I Do With Full Container? |
The full cubetainer is now safe to dispose of with the rest of your trash |
| What Are My Options? |
Silver reclamation, evaporation and hauling, all of which require a lengthy paper trail |
| Who Says I Can Use This? |
E.P.A regulations (found in 40 CFR parts 260 to 299) local landfill regulations and wastewater regulations |
| Who says I need to do anything? |
Your mother (Earth) |
